Step-by-step transport of corpse/urn with ashes from Greece to Poland.
Contact our office by telephone
The first step in bringing a deceased person from abroad is to contact our office and establish basic information. During the conversation we will also give you a reliable quote and answer any questions you may have.
Complete the necessary documents
Then, by e-mail, we send you the required forms (also available for download on our website), which you must fill in and send back in the form of a scan or possibly a good-quality photograph. These documents will enable us to start work.
Transport of the deceased by air
Transport from Greece is carried out by us by air, which improves the time in which the service can be carried out compared to transport by car. We can also, at your request, take a photograph of the body of the deceased in the coffin before it is closed.
Send a hearse with a crew to collect the deceased from the airport
After obtaining the required documents from the relevant institutions, we send one of our certified hearses with a professional and experienced crew to collect the body from the destination airport.
Receipt of the deceased and formalities
On site, at the reception of the deceased, our crew is required to arrange all the necessary formalities for the collection of the body or the urn with ashes.
Delivery of the coffin/urn to a predetermined address
The final step is the delivery of the coffin or urn to any funeral home in Poland, or to an address of your choice.
How long does it take to transport a deceased person from Greece to Poland
Apokalipsa has been operating in the funeral market for more than 30 years. Many years of practice and resilient work have enabled us to achieve the highest possible quality in the international transport of the deceased service we provide. Once basic information has been established during a telephone conversation with the family, and all required documents have been completed, one of our international crews is immediately dispatched to carry out the deceased transport service.
Our office and drivers regularly deal with transport of the deceased from Greece, which provides us with experience in the service we provide. Transport from Greece is divided into two stages. The first stage involves transporting the deceased by air to the chosen destination airport. The next stage is the collection of the coffin or urn from the airport and delivery to any address of your choice.
Transporting a deceased person from Greece to Poland can take us between 5 and 8 working days depending on the service.
