Step-by-step transport of corpse/urn with ashes from Germany to Poland.

01.

Contact our office by telephone

The first step in bringing a deceased person from abroad is to contact our office and establish basic information. During the conversation we will also give you a reliable quote and answer any questions you may have.

02.

Complete the necessary documents

Then, by e-mail, we send you the required forms (also available for download on our website), which you must fill in and send back in the form of a scan or possibly a good-quality photograph. These documents will enable us to start work.

03.

Send a hearse with a crew to collect the deceased from Germany

After obtaining the required documents from the relevant institutions, we send one of our certified hearses with a professional and experienced crew to collect the body from the mortuary or funeral home.

04.

Collection of the deceased, formalities and possible dressing of the body

On site, at the reception of the deceased, our crew is obliged to arrange all the necessary formalities for the collection of the body or the urn with ashes. Where possible, we offer to dress the deceased in clothes previously selected by you from our wardrobe (or clothes sent by the deceased's family by courier to our address). We can also, on your request, take a photograph of the body of the deceased in the coffin before it is closed.

05.

Consular clearance within Germany

Then, once the coffin or urn has been collected, our crew is required to check in at one of the Polish consular posts in Germany. These posts are located in Hamburg, Monachium and Berlin.

06.

Delivery of the coffin/urn to a predetermined address

The final step is the delivery of the coffin or urn to any funeral home in Poland, or to an address of your choice.

How long does it take to transport a deceased person from Germany to Poland

Apokalipsa has been operating in the funeral market for more than 30 years. Many years of practice and resilient work have enabled us to achieve the highest possible quality in the international transport of the deceased service we provide. Once basic information has been established during a telephone conversation with the family, and all required documents have been completed, one of our international crews is immediately dispatched to carry out the deceased transport service.

Our office and drivers regularly deal with transport of the deceased from Austria and Germany, ensuring that the service is carried out professionally. Transport crews that travel to the Austria are also able to communicate fluently in German which makes transport easier and more efficient.

Transporting a deceased person from Germany to Poland can take us between 1 and 3 working days depending on the service.
